By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. General Information

Arctic Delice is a Finnish brand owned and operated by AroWild Oy.
All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) as required by the EU One Stop Shop (OSS) system.
Under the OSS, VAT is collected and remitted to the customer’s country of residence.
Where technically available, prices may also be shown in other EU currencies for reference.

Customers must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Orders by minors are not accepted.

2. Orders and Payments

  • Orders become binding once confirmed at checkout.
  • Payments are securely processed through Stripe or other approved payment partners.
  • All prices include VAT unless a valid reverse-charge VAT number is provided (see Section 3).
  • Arctic Delice reserves the right to cancel or correct orders affected by obvious technical or typographical pricing errors, such as prices shown as €0.10 or €1.00 due to system malfunction.
    In such cases, the customer will be contacted and offered the option to confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel without charge.

3. VAT and Reverse Charge for Business Customers

Business customers within the EU who provide a valid VAT number may purchase goods without VAT (reverse charge) in accordance with Council Directive 2006/112/EC, Articles 138–196.

  • AroWild Oy verifies all VAT numbers through the EU VIES database (https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/).
  • If the VAT number is valid in VIES, the transaction may be processed without VAT.
  • If the provided VAT number does not belong to the buyer or is used improperly, the buyer assumes full responsibility for any resulting tax obligations.
  • AroWild Oy cannot verify ownership of VAT numbers beyond VIES validation and is therefore not liable for misuse by the buyer.

4. Global Blue VAT Refund (Tax Free)

Non-EU residents may apply for a VAT refund through Global Blue Finland Oy when purchasing from Arctic Delice.

Conditions:

  • The customer must be a non-EU resident and present a valid passport.
  • A minimum purchase amount required by Global Blue must be met.
  • The purchase must be delivered by courier within Helsinki, Espoo, or Vantaa.
  • The courier will deliver the package sealed according to Finnish Customs (Tulli) requirements.
  • The customer must present a valid passport upon delivery to receive a Global Blue tax refund form (receipt).
  • Passport data (full name, passport number, and issuing country) is collected only for the purpose of generating the refund form and is stored securely for the minimum legally required time.

AroWild Oy is registered with Global Blue Finland Oy and processes tax-free documentation in compliance with GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (necessary for contract performance).

5. Delivery and CITES Restrictions

5.1 Bear Meat from Finnish Wild Nature

Products labeled as “sourced from Finnish wild nature (bear meat)” are not available for delivery outside Finland, in compliance with wildlife trade and CITES regulations.

5.2 Non-Finnish Bear Meat

Bear meat sourced from Sweden, Estonia, or other EU countries may be sold and shipped outside Finland only with a valid CITES export document.
If such documentation is unavailable or export is restricted, delivery outside Finland is not possible.

6. Liability and Disclaimer

  • Arctic Delice is not responsible for shipping delays or damages caused by third-party logistics providers.
  • Product photos are illustrative; packaging may vary.
  • All reasonable efforts are made to ensure accurate descriptions, but minor variations in weight, appearance, or packaging may occur.
  • AroWild Oy is not liable for losses resulting from incorrect customer-provided information (e.g., wrong address, VAT misuse, or customs rejections).

7. Returns and Complaints

Returns and refunds are handled according to the Return Policy.
Complaints must be reported promptly to info(at)arcticdelice.fi, including supporting documentation or photographs where applicable.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Finnish law and European Union legislation.
Disputes shall be resolved in Finnish courts or, if applicable, through the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
