Return Policy

This Return Policy complies with Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights and the Finnish Consumer Protection Act (Chapter 6, Section 16).

1. General Principles

Food products are not eligible for return due to health and hygiene reasons, as stated in Article 16(c) and (e) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Exceptions apply only in specific cases listed below.

2. Eligible Return Cases

A return or refund may be accepted only if:

Temperature breach:
- The cold chain was broken during delivery.
- The customer must report this immediately upon receipt and provide reasonable evidence (e.g., photo or video showing the packaging, temperature indicator if present, and visible product condition).
Damaged or unsealed product:
- The product arrived opened, contaminated, or clearly damaged.
- Minor packaging defects (such as a dented box or wrinkled label) that do not affect product safety or integrity are not valid reasons for return.
Wrong product delivered:
- The customer received a product that was not ordered and did not consent to a replacement with an equivalent item.

3. Canned and Non-Perishable Goods

Canned and shelf-stable goods may be returned within 14 days of receipt.
Delivery costs are non-refundable.

Returned products must:

Be unopened,
Contain all original packaging and labels,
Be suitable for resale (clean, undamaged, unaltered).

If these conditions are met, the product may legally be resold.

4. Non-Food Products

Non-food items can be returned within 2 months if:

The product packaging has not been opened,
The item remains unused and resalable.

Antique or unique items are excluded from returns, as they are sold on a final-sale basis.

5. Final Notes

No other exceptions apply.
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving and approving the returned item.
